If you’re into road cycling, gravel biking or mountain biking, we have a wealth of quiet roads, testing climbs, winding lanes and wooded trails to explore, right on your doorstep. It’s a place that will instantly put a smile on your face.

From vineyards to mountains via olive groves and almond trees, the web of tracks and caminos that criss-cross the countryside offer hundreds of kilometres of varied walking to suit your mood.

Utiel-Requena is a Denominación de Origen wine region producing fantastic, great value red, white, rosé and cava. Discover the best local bodegas and cooperatives and pair your favourite wines with the region’s many delicacies.

Approximately 65km west of the beautiful Mediterranean city of Valencia, Casa de las Viñas nestles in the tranquil village of San Juan, around 8km from the historic towns of Requena and Utiel, and 2km from the small town of San Antonio.
