Road cycling
From a 10km spin to a 150km epic, quiet roads, great surfaces and a choice of spectacular terrain outside your front door means there’s something for every cyclist. Both Requena and Utiel have hosted stages of La Vuelta a España on a number of occasions in recent years, which is testament to the calibre of road cycling here.
Gravel cycling
Forest trails, caminos, vineyard tracks, mountain climbs – you name it, we have it. Explore the incredible countryside and villages around Casa de las Viñas on the myriad of traffic-free paved and unpaved tracks that traverse the area.
Mountain biking
If you prefer your cycling more off-piste, you’ll find a vast network of rocky goat trails, dried-up streams and mountain tracks to test your skills. Mix them up with the gravel trails and caminos and you can easily vary the style and technical difficulty of every ride.
E-biking
E-bikes are a great option if you’re looking for a slightly easier ride. Some of the more challenging climbs around here instantly become doable, and it’s surprising just how far you can get with a little motorised assistance.

If you’d rather hire a bike than bring your own, Hummi Bikes in our local town of Requena has a great selection of rentals available from brands like Trek and Specialized at reasonable prices for road, gravel, mtb and e-bike riding.
