Where sport meets wine: The Wineland Cycling Experience

If you enjoy beautiful countryside, great cycling and amazing wine, there’s an exciting new experience for you to try this October 28-29 near Requena, less than an hour west of Valencia city. Promoted by Wineland, the weekend offers the choice of a two-stage mountain bike contest and a gravel event, with routes around the mountains and vineyards of Tierra Bobal, the home of Utiel-Requena wine.

Stage 1 of the MTB race features a 65km route with elevation of 1,500m+, while stage 2 is over 40km with 1,100m elevation. The gravel event is non-competitive, and you can choose between long and shorter routes, both with plenty of climbing. The routes cover a large part of the vineyards in our region and pass through the interior of four of the most famous wineries in the area.
